American Security Rx (ASRX) is a California Department of Justice and California Board of Pharmacy approved Security Printer (SP-9) to provide tamper-resistant California Security Prescription forms for controlled medications.
Starting April 1, 2008, the new Federal Medicaid law requires all written prescription for Medicaid patients to be on tamper-resistant pads. This includes prescriptions for OTC medications.
ASRX provides Tamper-Resistant prescriptions for all States (except NY) that comply with the new Federal mandate for Medicaid prescription.
We also offer loose sheet prescriptions for use with EMR or prescription writing software that can be used in ink-jet or laser printers (L Form).
